# Team

> Give colleagues admin access to your store, and take it away again.

**Team** lists everyone who can administer this store. Admins see the whole admin panel: catalog,
orders, customers, licenses, settings and billing.

## Invite an admin

Enter their email address and invite. Keyplar emails them a sign-in link valid for 24 hours,
which drops them straight into the admin panel.

There's no separate invitation to accept or expire — the moment you invite someone, they're an
admin. The email is just how they get in.

  If that email already belongs to one of your customers, **the same account** gains admin
  access. Their orders, licenses and downloads are untouched, and they keep them if you later
  remove admin access. An admin who buys something is just an order owner on the same account.

## Seats

Your plan sets how many admins a store can have. The panel shows how many you've used — `2 of 3
seats used`.

When seats are full the invite form is replaced by a prompt to upgrade or remove someone. See
[Billing and plans](/billing) for the seat counts.

## Remove an admin

Removing admin access **demotes** the account to a normal customer. It doesn't delete anything:
their orders, licenses and benefits survive, and they can still sign in to the customer portal.

Two guardrails you'll run into:

* **You can't remove the last admin.** A store with no admins is unreachable.
* **You can't demote yourself.** Ask another admin to do it.

## Admins across several stores

The same email can be an admin on any number of Keyplar stores. Each store is a separate account
with its own orders and its own subscription — there's no shared login and no combined invoice.

If you run more than one, the store switcher in the sidebar moves you between them, and shows
each store's billing status.

## Security notes

* Admin access is enforced on every page and every action, not just by hiding navigation
* Sign-in links expire in 24 hours
* Removing admin access revokes it immediately
* Admins can't be [impersonated](/customers#impersonate), including by other admins
